"I began choosing paint, wallpaper, and flooring for spec homes while still in high school. Because of my love of design I attended UNCG for formal training. While there I also minored in studio art and did an internship with Alderman Studios, then the worlds largest photography studio for furniture and interiors. After graduating I worked in residential lighting and ran a decorative fabics business for a designer in New York. For the past 25 years I have worked full time and free lance as an interior designer. During this time I have enjoyed a variety of design opportunities:
